Reflecting on 2025 and Looking Ahead to 2026

As 2025 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on a year that has been both challenging and rewarding for our team at TAG HR and Turtle Island Staffing. It’s been a year of trials, triumphs, and lessons learned, reminding us why resilience, dedication, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.

One of the highlights this year was being recognized in the FORBES awards listings, which is a tremendous acknowledgment of our team’s commitment and expertise. Awards like this don’t just reflect achievements, they reflect the values we live every day: integrity, partnership, and a relentless focus on delivering results for our clients.

We attended some incredible events this year, where speakers shared stories that were as relatable as they were inspiring. They reminded us that growth comes not from avoiding obstacles, but from leaning into them, learning, and adapting. This is a mindset we carry into every client partnership and every placement we make.

Being a federal government supplier in 2025 presented its own set of challenges. From navigating procurement processes to adapting to evolving requirements, we’ve grown stronger, more strategic, and more nimble in meeting the needs of public sector clients. At the same time, the recruitment landscape continues to shift. Talent shortages, evolving candidate expectations, and sector-specific challenges have kept us on our toes.

Despite these challenges, we are entering 2026 with optimism. The market shows signs of promise, and we are excited to work with a government that demonstrates a focus on economic intelligence. We’re hopeful that these conditions, combined with our strengthened client connections, will create opportunities for meaningful impact across every sector we serve.

Through it all, one thing has remained constant: the incredible dedication of our team. Our core staff has an average tenure of 13.5 years, and it’s their knowledge, loyalty, and passion that empower us to navigate challenges and seize opportunities.

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to our external partners, peer groups, and friends who have supported us this year and mentioned our name in rooms of opportunity. Your trust, encouragement, and collaboration mean so much to us.

2025 was not easy, but we survived, and we’ve emerged stronger than ever. As we look forward to 2026, we are excited to deepen our relationships with clients, continue innovating our services, and embrace the possibilities the new year brings.
